Dr. Wen Yin is an associate professor at the Fourth Military Medical University and is the director of the Laboratory Center. He got his bachelor's degree from the Third Military Medical University in 1992 and his Ph.D. from the Fourth Military Medical University in 2001. His research interest has been in infectious diseases and his research focuses on cell ultrastructure, hepatitis C virus vaccine design, and cell and animal infection models. Currently, he is working on immune responses to BCG expressing HCV multi-epitope or HBV multi-epitope, as well as development of doxycycline-regulated gene expression mouse models for HCV infection. His research also focuses on the shape of HCV under electron microscope and ultrastructural pathology diagnosis. His research is finicially supported by fund of 863 Program.
Dr. Wen Yin has been awarded two second-class PLA Prize for Achievements in Science and technology. He has published 86 papers, five of which are SCI papers.
